U.S. Diplomat Testifies: ‘I Tried To Warn Obama Admin About Hunter Biden and Ukraine In 2015, Nobody Listened’
Former VP Joe Biden should never have allowed his son to be a board member and certainly knew about it when Hunter joined.
Before I go forward, what’s the purpose of a closed-door investigation when information continues to leak out? This is just evidence that the DNC is trying to get Biden out of the race the same way they did Bernie in 2016.
A diplomat, George Kent, who still works in the State Department as deputy assistant secretary of state, and who served in the State Department under former Barack Obama testified on Tuesday that he sounded the alarm about Hunter Biden’s appointment to Ukrainian energy company Burisma in early 2015, but according to a Washington Post article, nobody gave a damn.
Joe had to know why they made his son a board member, and anyone who says he didn’t is lying to you. Joe is telling a country to cut out all the corruption, but you let your son with no experience to offer the company be appointed a board member because you are VP of the US. This would be the very definition of corruption, even if no laws were broken. I am sure the Ukrainians thought when Biden told them to knock off the corruption, “oh yeah, do I say, not as I do.”

A career State Department official overseeing Ukraine policy told congressional investigators this week that he had raised concerns in early 2015 about then-Vice President Joe Biden’s son serving on the board of a Ukrainian energy company but was turned away by a Biden staffer, according to three people familiar with the testimony.
George Kent, a deputy assistant secretary of state, testified Tuesday that he worried that Hunter Biden’s position at the firm Burisma Holdings would complicate efforts by U.S. diplomats to convey to Ukrainian officials the importance of avoiding conflicts of interest, said the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of confidentiality rules surrounding the deposition.
Kent said he had concerns that Ukrainian officials would view Hunter Biden as a conduit for currying influence with his father, said the people. But when Kent raised the issue with Biden’s office, he was told the then-vice president didn’t have the “bandwidth” to deal with the issue involving his son as his other son, Beau, was battling cancer, said the people familiar with his testimony.
The testimony by Kent offers a reminder that as Democrats probe President Trump’s alleged actions in pressuring Ukraine to dig up compromising information on Biden, the impeachment inquiry also threatens to keep alive questions about the former vice president’s handling of his son’s foreign work at a precarious moment for his 2020 presidential campaign. Talk about hiding an important story. This story was buried. All media and Dems are in cahoots. Doesn’t that bother anybody?
Look at virtually EVERY career politician. They all have spouses, kids, other relatives, and friends who become very wealthy along with the politician. As their political career goes, so goes the fortunes of dozens of close people. The spouses all seem to be extremely wealthy while the politician themselves try to claim they are not by filling separate taxes, stating out (officially anyway) of the businesses the spouse/ kids are involved with. With Biden, his son showed the skills of someone who would normally be a middle class at best.

Clearly, VP Biden was swimming in a sea of son-inflicted conflict of interest, chose to bail out of any proper action. Dishonesty and lack of integrity at the VP level and anywhere else (which would have been considerable) that knew about it.
Everything the Dems are trying to impeach Trump on, they are guilty of doing themselves. Colluding with Russia to influence an American election. Check. Russian dossier paid for by Clinton apparatchiks. Corruption and influence peddling in Ukraine. Check. Biden and Biden Incorporated.
The Trumps made their money before going into the Government, whereas the Bidens made theirs after they joined the Government. Big difference.
